Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how PRLX Productions handles information when you visit prlxprod.com, create a PRLX account, purchase a product, send a message, submit a request, or use connected site features.

Information we collect

We may collect account information such as username, password-derived authentication data, optional email address or phone number, account status, and session information. We also collect purchase and license records, Digital Library access, messages, submissions, request details, and support correspondence.

Our infrastructure may process device, browser, IP address, security, error, and access-log information. Stripe processes payment details and returns transaction identifiers, payment status, billing details, and limited customer information needed to fulfill purchases and handle payment corrections or disputes. PRLX does not receive your complete card number.

How information is used

We use information to operate accounts, authenticate users, process and fulfill purchases, generate agreements, deliver files, provide support, respond to requests, prevent fraud, secure the service, maintain records, improve the site, and comply with legal obligations.

When information is shared

Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the site and payments, including Stripe and Cloudflare, only as needed for their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or PRLX, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a legitimate business transfer.

PRLX does not sell personal information to advertisers.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses cookies or similar browser storage for sign-in sessions, security, navigation state, installed-app behavior, preferences, and local DM Tools workspaces. Blocking storage may prevent account, checkout, or app features from working correctly.

Retention

We retain account, purchase, license, agreement, payment-correction, dispute, and security records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, protect creative rights, maintain financial records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Messages and submissions may be retained while a request is active or for legitimate recordkeeping.

Your choices

You may request correction or deletion of eligible account information by contacting PRLX. Some transaction, license, fraud-prevention, or legal records may need to be retained. You may also stop using the site, sign out, or control browser storage through your device settings.

Security

PRLX uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system is completely secure. Use a unique password and contact PRLX promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access. Never send a password or complete payment-card number by email or site message.

Children

The site is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to data processing or enter contracts in their location. A parent or guardian should contact PRLX if they believe a child submitted information without proper permission.
